As a strategy manager at Aalberts, you will collaborate closely with the chief strategy officer and support key stakeholders within the executive team and the divisions to progress the deployment of the ‘thrive 2030’ ambition and foster excellence in strategic planning, M&A processes, and post-merger integration.

key responsibilities
- play active role in the ‘thrive 2030’ implementation
- coordinate strategic planning and related activities, incl. reviews and initiative follow-up
- be part of M&A processes, incl. strategic rationale, target screening and qualification, due diligence, valuation, post-merger integration planning and implementation support
- build readiness and capacity for corporate strategy excellence and strategic intelligence (incl. foresight, scenarios)
- support strategic intelligence (incl. geopolitics, trade, industrial policy)
requirements
- Master’s degree in business administration, economics, or related discipline, ideally with understanding of geopolitics, international trade, and industrial policies
- 3+ years of experience in strategy and change management within an international environment, preferably in a corporate setting or an international organisation; familiarity with the industrial goods sector and end markets relevant to Aalberts is desirable
- experience in designing and driving strategic processes (incl. foresight, development, planning, and execution), and interest in M&A and corporate transformation
- track record of working with senior leaders, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and engaging with subject matter experts and advisors
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- fluency in English
